ICC Sydney expecting 49,000 tech and creative industries delegates in 2025
Sydney’s convention centre has locked in 35 events for the technology and creative industries this year.

The likes of Salesforce, Google, Amazon Web Services, Oracle, Qualtrics, ServiceNow, Stripe and Ingram Micro will be holding events at ICC Sydney this year.

“Being more than a venue, ICC Sydney was designed to host events that can shape our collective future,” said ICC Sydney’s CEO, Adam Mather-Brown.

“We strive to make a difference for our clients, and we are seeing increasing numbers of startup organisations, alongside well-established brands, hosting events in response to our seamless connectivity, equipment and experienced team that engage discerning audiences and deliver dynamic experiences.

Organisers bringing their tech events to the convention centre cite a variety of reasons for choosing the venue.

“We’ve chosen ICC Sydney for the Ingram Micro Experience to be held in August in recognition of their exceptional capacity to deliver the highest standard of professionalism, technology infrastructure and convenience,” said head of events of Ingram Micro for Australia and New Zealand, Jessica von Sperl.

“It’s the ideal environment for our team to engage more than a thousand technology partners, C-level executives, decision makers and Australian resellers to unite and scale the Australian technology ecosystem.

“Working with an expert venue team gives us the confidence to focus on developing our content-rich agenda, which will cover industry trends and market opportunities while nurturing collaboration.”

ICC Sydney’s Legacy Program has a tech heavy Innovators and Entrepreneurs’ stream, which provides organisers with an easy gateway to tap into Sydney’s tech startup scene. The centre’s proximity to the Tech Central precinct around Central Station can also be used as a draw for technology focused gatherings. As a city, Sydney also boasts Australia’s highest number of STEM graduates and tech workers.

And for some technology companies it’s ICC Sydney’s other values which prove a drawcard.

“ICC Sydney’s team demonstrated again why they were our venue of choice for Agentforce World Tour 2025,” said Stuart Frank, senior director of strategic experiences at Salesforce.

“Their commitment to sustainability, with existing policies, practices and credentials, [is] perfectly aligned to Salesforce’s mission and fifth value, sustainability.

“The support and knowledge from the team is invaluable to the success of our event and this continues to ring true every time we come back.”
