Encore Event Technologies takes on new venues
Encore Event Technologies will provide audio visual services at a major Melbourne venue and a new racecourse venue in Adelaide.

In June, Encore will take the reins from Microhire as the preferred in-house supplier at CENTREPIECE, the purpose-built business events venue at Melbourne Park, where the Australian Open is held.

The hero event space at CENTREPIECE is the nearly 2,000m2 Grand Hall with 8m high ceilings. Other spaces at the venue include a 250-seat auditorium, several smaller meeting rooms, studios and outdoor terraces.

The venue is a relatively new addition to Melbourne, opening in 2021 as part of Melbourne Park’s $972 million redevelopment.

“We are excited to join forces with CENTREPIECE to offer our clients an unmatched blend of premium event production services at an iconic venue,” said Encore’s managing director for APAC, Scott Nodsle.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to elevating the standard of event experiences and creating lasting memories for our clients.”

Encore has also signed on to be the in-house event partner for the just opened $20 million Wolf Blass Event Centre at Morphettville Racecourse, 10km from Adelaide’s city centre.

The venue overlooks the race course and the Adelaide Hills and can accommodate gala dinners of 600 guests and conferences of up to 700 pax.

“The Encore team came to us with a highly creative and technologically leading solution which demonstrated an understanding of the various requirements of each event space,” said Grant Mayer, CEO of the South Australian Jockey Club, which runs Morphettville Racecourse.

“They proposed an exciting in-house event solution that will further lift our offerings.”
