Sydney’s Manly Pacific hotel to rebrand

The 213-room beachfront hotel on Sydney’s Northern Beaches will follow its sister hotel in Noosa into the Elysium brand.

The transition to the new brand will take place next month and see the property leave Accor and the MGallery portfolio. However the hotel’s general manager, Dylan Cole, will remain at the helm.

The rebrand follows significant investment in the hotel in recent years, including a $30 million revamp of guest rooms and the property’s nine event spaces, completed in 2023, and the $8.5 million addition of restaurant Cibaria more recently, helmed by acclaimed restauranteurs Alessandro and Anna Pavoni.

As a result, moving to the Elysium brand will see smaller changes at the hotel, including new room amenities from Hermès, ESPA and Grown Alchemist, a new signature scent and soundscape for the hotel and bespoke floral installations at the property.

“Manly Pacific has built a strong reputation as one of Sydney’s most iconic hotels in the Australian landscape, and this next chapter allows us to build on that foundation with a more considered expression of coastal luxury,” said Cole.

“The investment made across accommodation, design, dining and service has transformed the guest experience.

“Elysium brings those elements together under a singular vision, while continuing to deliver the warmth, authenticity and sense of place that our guests value most.

“Our guest focus remains the same: delivering a seamless, high-quality experience while refining the details that make a stay here truly meaningful.”

Since its recent renovations, the hotel has enjoyed its best occupancy and revenue performance in the property’s history.

Elysium Manly follows the hotel formerly known as Sofitel Noosa Pacific – now Elysium Noosa – into the Elysium brand.
