A new partnership between Associations Forum and Connected Event Group will deliver a learning opportunity for associations and not-for-profit (NFP) organisations.

The two organisations have partnered to create an inaugural masterclass with a panel of leaders in events, marketing and associations.

Founder of Connected Event Group Libbie Ray said it was an important time to share experiences and knowledge with organisers and CEOs in this sector as they face a complex and new events and marketing landscape.

“This collaboration with Associations Forum comes at a critical time for the Association and NFP sector as they face decisions about how to reimagine their community engagement strategies and their events programs,’’ she said.

Fatima Sunderji, General Manager of the Associations Forum said the Masterclass was a practical way to give its 600 plus member organisations access to a timely professional development opportunity.

“COVID has had a great impact on associations and NFP events so we are delighted to offer this important masterclass.”

The masterclass is designed to educate and share knowledge about the new events landscape – lessons for virtual, hybrid and live events delivery. It will be practical, with case studies and tips from practitioners who have delivered hundreds of events and marketing campaigns.

Alongside Ray, the presenters include professional speaker, MC and trainer Andrew Klein, National Sponsorship, Events & Mentoring Manager for the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) Adrianne Bath and multi award-winning marketer and co-founder and director of Rocket James Lawrence.

The masterclass will take place from 10:30am-12:00pm on June 8, 2021 as an online webinar. Registration can be completed on the Associations Forum website.
