Australian business events association Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) has opened registrations for its one-day conference at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins on June 30.

To maximise networking opportunities, the event will also include a welcome function in the evening of June 29 and a closing networking event after the end of sessions.

The conference theme is “Building confidence through best practice”, with the program to be built around the three pillars of building confidence, best practice and future leaders.

“Evolve 2022 will refresh everyone’s minds about the value of our national community after a three-year hiatus of coming together face-to-face,” said MEA’s CEO Peter McDonald.

“The event will offer opportunities in parallel for professional development, business development and reaffirmation or creation of relationships.

“MEA wants to lead by example and show the nation how it’s possible to gather safely for events and in large social groups.

“We’re hoping that Evolve will be the inspiration or impetus for other event holders to hit the ‘go’ button and drive the sector’s resurgence,” he said.

Registrations to attend Evolve 2022 either in person or virtual are available via the Evolve 2022 website.
