Starting next week, major hotel brand IHG will open three new voco hotels within a month, with the first, the 252-room voco Melbourne Central to open on April 28 in the landmark skyscraper 380 Melbourne.

The Melbourne opening will be followed by the launch of voco Auckland City Centre, with 201 rooms and the highest rooftop bar in the city, on May 12, and the debut of the 194-room voco Brisbane City Centre on May 27.

The Brisbane hotel will have the largest amount of meeting space with more than 1,200m2 across 11 rooms. voco Melbourne Central will have almost 500m2 across five spaces, while the new Auckland offering will have almost 600m2 across five spaces.

The first hotel under the “playful and sustainably minded” voco brand globally opened on the Gold Coast in 2018, with 31 more properties launched around the world since then, including one in the NSW Hunter Valley.
