In a first for convention centres around the country, the ICC Sydney has launched a Reconciliation Action Plan to recognise and celebrate the cultures, practices and traditions of Australia’s First Nations within the venue and events it hosts. The RAP will see the venue activate a series of initiatives to build greater engagement with Australia’s First Nations, including the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the custodians of the land on which ICC Sydney is located.

As part of the initiative, art and culture from Australia’s First Nations will be displayed across the venue’s main entry points, including pieces commissioned by renowned Aboriginal artist Jeffrey Samuels.
