ICC Sydney has boosted its employee benefits for both permanent and casual staff as it looks to attract more employees to service rising business events demand.

Employee benefits include paid parental and exam leave, and internal recognition program, which includes rewards like VIP event tickets as well as goods and services, cash incentives for current staff who refer future employees, employee counselling, discounted car parking and multi-hire opportunities.

The venue has also updated and registered its Enterprise Bargaining Agreement with the Fair Work Commission.  The updated EBA looks to improve working conditions for casual staff and provide yearly pay increases for some operational roles.

“Since opening ICC Sydney in 2016, we’ve been proud to foster a culture of respect and fairness for the many people employed with us across a range of trades and positions,” said ICC Sydney CEO Geoff Donaghy.

“With the increase of in-person events, we are also adding new team members across a spectrum of skills to meet the needs of clients.

“Our employee benefits program coupled with our upgraded Enterprise Bargaining Agreement will continue to help us meet our ambition to be more than a venue for the customers and community we serve,” he said.
