Nothing beats a committed partner and there’s no doubt that Ungerboeck Software International is an outstanding supporter of young people in the industry.
That commitment is embedded in the culture of the organisation, led by Fred Lazzarini, Managing Director for Asia-Pacific.
Under Lazzarini’s leadership Ungerboeck has remained steadfast in its support of industry programs that encourage the careers of young professional and leaders.
This week Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) opened applications for the 2021 Ungerboeck Young Professional Scholarship. Ungerboeck also supports the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia’s Richard Geddes Young Achiever Award.
So hats off to Ungerboeck for renewing its commitment to MEA’s scholarship program in what has been a very difficult 15 months for our industry.
Now in its 17th year, MEA’s scholarship gives one successful applicant from each of Australia’s states and territories the opportunity to attend Evolve, the association’s annual national events industry conference.
To be eligible applicants must be 30 or under at the close of applications next week, have less than three years of fulltime experience in the events industry and must work for a MEA member.
Applications close on Wednesday 26 May 2021 – so get your skates on as you only have a few days to apply.
Evolve 2021 will be held on Thursday July 1, 2021, with the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins as the flagship location and satellite hubs in Sydney and Brisbane. Scholarship winners canattend any of the three live locations or the virtual event.
For more information and to apply, see MEA’s website.
