voco Gosford to have a rooftop ballroom
Opening from October this year, voco Gosford will boast the Central Coast’s only rooftop event space.

Altogether the 130-room hotel in regional New South Wales will have 700m2 of event space spread across up to six rooms and two levels.

The Altitude Grand Ballroom will be located on level 28 with a capacity to host 340 attendees standing or 270 for a banquet. The ballroom can also be split into three spaces, with banqueting space for 60 in each.

On level six, The Aviary can cater to 330 for cocktails or banquets of up to 250 attendees. Like the ballroom, The Aviary can be split into three, with two smaller spaces for up 70 standing in each and a larger room able to host up to 220.

The Aviary will also have an outdoor pre-function space overlooking a podium pool deck with a swim-up bar.

voco Gosford is set to offer a variety of pop-up activations and activities for business events, including smoothie bars, barista coffee, sweet stations, alongside Vino & Vinyasa and Pinot & Pizza Making.

The hotel will be located in the Archibald building being developed by ALAND, which also includes 327 residential apartments.

“We’re thrilled to be making our foray into Gosford in our first partnership with ALAND and extending our reach across regional NSW with the voco brand,” said IHG Hotels & Resorts’ director of development for Australasia and the Pacific, Cameron Burke, when voco Gosford was first announced in late 2023.

“This is an incredibly exciting development, and we are delighted to be part of a project that will transform the city of Gosford into a new lifestyle destination.

“I have no doubt the addition of voco to the city will help drive tourism across the region, and the adjacent hospitality amenity is sure to be a popular driver of patronage.

“We’re excited about the growth opportunities we see in regional Australia.”

The hotel is located close to Gosford Station, with trains from Sydney taking around one hour and 20 minutes. Drive time from the Sydney CBD is under 70 minutes.
