voco to settle in another regional Australian destination
A voco is set to open in Gosford on the Central Coast of NSW in early 2025.

voco Gosford will be located in the mixed-use Archibald by ALAND development, after IHG Hotels and Resorts partnered with Sydney developer ALAND to bring the voco brand to Gosford.

The hotel will have a 130 rooms, while the wider development will feature 320 residential apartments, hospitality venues, and a podium outdoor pool with a swim-up bar.

Guest rooms in the new voco will range in size up to 41sqm, while executive suites will stretch to 54sqm.

Within the development, there will be 610sqm of conference and event space, in addition to a rooftop bar and a restaurant helmed by celebrity chef Dany Karam.

The development will overlook Brisbane Water.

“We’re thrilled to be making our foray into Gosford in our first partnership with ALAND and extending our reach across regional NSW with the voco brand,” said IHG Hotels & Resorts’ director of development for Australasia and the Pacific, Cameron Burke.

“This is an incredibly exciting development, and we are delighted to be part of a project that will transform the city of Gosford into a new lifestyle destination.

“I have no doubt the addition of voco to the city will help drive tourism across the region, and the adjacent hospitality amenity is sure to be a popular driver of patronage.

“We’re excited about the growth opportunities we see in regional Australia and are passionate about providing more choices for our loyalty members.”

ALAND founder and director Andrew Hrsto said the development is a once-in-a-generation development for Gosford.

“Archibald is set to reposition Gosford as a major destination for holidaymakers and corporate hospitality. The voco brand was the perfect fit for what is set to be a vibrant lifestyle destination on the Central Coast, at a time of significant growth and investment in Gosford,” said Hrsto.

“By integrating the voco brand into our development, residents will benefit from the atmosphere and amenities of a world-class hotel right at their doorstep, creating a cohesive experience of luxury everyday living for anyone who resides at the Archibald or is visiting as a guest.”

The voco brand launched globally in Australia, with the opening of voco Gold Coast in 2018, and has since become IHG’s fastest growing brand, with properties in 18 countries. IHG’s wider portfolio is currently enjoying its largest ever growth boom in Australasia, with openings across its InterContinental, Kimpton, voco, Crowne Plaza and Hotel Indigo brands.
