Salter Brothers Hospitality launches national business events offering

A unified approach for business events via Salter Brothers Hospitality’s Worlds Apart platform will give event planners easier access to 19 hotels and 29 restaurants.

After several years marked by a variety of boutique luxury acquisitions, including multiple properties in the Blue Mountains through buying up Escarpment Group, in addition to acquiring the majority of the Spicers Retreats portfolio and all of the Bannisters properties, Salter Brothers Hospitality launched Worlds Apart last December, bringing several of its brands under one umbrella platform.

The new focus on business events is the first strategic move under the Worlds Apart banner for Salter Brothers Hospitality.

“The MICE sector has fundamentally shifted in recent years – corporate expectations have continued to rise, and flexibility and adaptability have become critical,” said Salter Brothers Hospitality CEO, Tash Tobias.

We’ve seen the industry’s traditional structure of fixed, off-the-shelf event programs really struggle to meet the needs of businesses and brands today.

“Our portfolio naturally lends itself to a far more flexible and tailored approach to events, so we’re excited to deliver a program that can work in partnership with clients to create experiences that genuinely reflect their people, objectives and culture.”

The new Worlds Apart for MICE offering will allow event organisers to mix and match different properties and restaurants in a single event itinerary and create bespoke programs in addition to offering ‘elevated’ experiences for groups.

“Part of the unique opportunity of Worlds Apart is the freedom for groups to leverage the sheer variety of all our properties,” said Tobias.

“Whether it’s a retreat experience in the crisp hinterland air, coastal relaxation or indulgent group dining with produce sourced in some of the best regions in Australia, we want to design events and experiences that lean on each property’s uniqueness to create genuine engagement.

“It’s that engagement that’s critical for success in today’s market.”
