The business behind Sydney’s Doltone House venues will helm the hospitality offering for Georges River Sailing Club from next month.

The venue underwent a $12 million revamp in 2025, which included refreshing its event floor, which can host events for up to 220 delegates.

From November 2, Doltone Hospitality Group is taking charge of F&B and events offering at the sailing club, promising “revitalised” menus and servicing the waterfront event venues.

“Doltone House started right here in southern Sydney, so it’s fitting that a local success story is joining us on the shores of Botany Bay,” said Chris White, CEO of Club Central Group, which owns Georges River Sailing Club.

“We are excited to work together to deliver exceptional dining, events and social experiences while preserving the welcoming club culture that makes Georges River Sailing Club such a special place.”

The first Doltone House venue was established in Sylvania Waters in 1969 and the business has since grown to include management of multiple venues under the Doltone House name around Sydney as well as white label venue management.

“This partnership represents an exciting opportunity to bring together the rich heritage and strong community foundations of Georges River Sailing Club with Doltone Hospitality Group’s experience in delivering exceptional dining, events and hospitality experiences,” said Doltone Hospitality Group deputy COO, Daniel Smart.

“Having worked closely with the team to bring this partnership to life, we’re looking forward to building on the investment already made in the club and creating new reasons for members, locals and visitors to come together on the waterfront.

“With the club’s centenary approaching in 2027, we have an incredible opportunity to celebrate its history while shaping an exciting future for the next generation.”
