The property is now taking bookings for stays from December 14.
The 202-room hotel is located within The Star Gold Coast complex, in a newly-built 65-storey tower, providing another accommodation options for delegates attending events at The Star’s Event Centre and the nearby Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC).
Guest rooms in the hotel will offer floor to ceiling windows, with some rooms to offer private outdoor spaces and suites featuring bathtubs.
The hotel will offer several F&B outlets, including the Mediterranean-meets-Australian Nove Restaurant and Bar, alongside the Vista Lounge, Verde Bar and the Andaz Pool Club.
“Andaz Gold Coast represents an important milestone as the Andaz brand prepares to debut in Australia and the Pacific,” said Hyatt’s executive vice president and Asia Pacific group president, David Udell.
“The hotel has been designed to capture the optimism, creative energy and natural contrasts of the Gold Coast, giving guests new ways to experience the destination through design, food, culture and personal discovery.”
The hotel’s opening is long-awaited, with Andaz Gold Coast initially slated for a mid-2025 debut, however a March 2025 water leak during the construction of the tower in which it is located set the opening back 18 months.
