IMEX America on track for a big show in 2026
Organisers of business events trade show IMEX America, taking place in Las Vegas in October, say buyer registrations are up on the same time last year.

Last year’s show was in itself the biggest on record, with over 17,000 participants, including 6,000 buyers.

With buyer registrations surging, exhibitors are also committing to the show.

The likes of Texas, Egypt, Barbados and Montreal will grow their footprints at the show in 2026, while a variety of destinations from around the world are returning, including Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, Korea and Jamaica.

Both Australia and New Zealand will have presences at the show with Tourism Australia and Tourism New Zealand inviting industry to join their respective national pavilions.

Amongst the hotel groups that will be showcasing at IMEX America are Marriott International, Hyatt and Hilton.

The show will also feature a 12-track education program, running throughout the event, with new tracks including “Designing for human needs”, “Designing for spectacle”, “Design matters”, “Regenerative design” and “Tech enabled futures”.

“The momentum behind IMEX America isn’t just about strong registration figures,” said IMEX CEO, Carina Bauer.

“We’re seeing organisations commit earlier and invest more significantly because they understand that face-to-face interaction delivers a genuine competitive advantage.

“Strong buyer and exhibitor participation demonstrates the continued importance of meeting in person to strengthen relationships, unlock opportunities and support growth.

“It’s a clear sign of an industry that’s forward-looking and focused on making business happen.”
