Appointed by Central Real Capital (CRC), Trilogy Hotels took over management of the 112-key property on July 1.
Alongside its room stock, The Sands Torquay offers event space for gatherings of up to 400 delegates, alongside a golf course, health club and three F&B establishments.
“Our aim is to preserve, stabilise and enhance The Sands as an exceptional, high-quality, residential, hospitality and golf destination for the long-term,” said Tony Denny on behalf of Central Real Capital.
“We look forward to working with Trilogy Hotels, an operator whose expertise, experience and commitment give us the confidence to see our vision come to life for resort guests and the surrounding community.”
Since launching in late 2023, Trilogy Hotels has amassed 24 properties in its management portfolio, including two that are yet to open. Hotels under brands including Fairmont, Pullman, Mercure, Peppers, Novotel, Crowne Plaza and AC by Marriott have all signed up to be managed by Trilogy Hotels.

Torquay is located just south of Geelong, at the start of the Great Ocean Road, about 40 minutes’ drive from Avalon Airport or 90 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD.
