Tasmania might be re-opening its borders to NSW next month, and ahead of this Business Events Tasmania (BET) has launched a new website.
Filled with curated content, stories and the practical information needed to plan a business event in Tasmania, the new site includes functionality that allows users to create and revisit ‘favourites’ lists and itineraries.
On the launch, BET CEO Marnie Craig said: “We hope to soon be able to safely bring PCOs and event planners back to Tasmania for site inspections and famils, but this website provides a virtual experience to fill that gap in the meantime.
“We’ve created a visually engaging, user-friendly platform that is full of experiences and activities as well as all the practical information that event planners need to inspire and plan a conference or incentive trip.
“Tasmania is so much more than beautiful scenic landscapes and award-winning produce. Our compact cities are easily navigated with conferencing venues, accommodation, offsite options and experiences all often just a short walk or boat ride away. The new website reflects the breadth of what Tasmania has to offer.”
The new website delivers ideas and information on the full range of products and services that event planners require, from major conferencing venues catering for up 1100 delegates, right through to transport, catering and gift options.
