Trilogy Hotels secures another major hotel management contract
After less than six months in business, Trilogy Hotels will take over the management of a key business events hotel in Sydney’s west.

Trilogy Hotels will manage the Pullman Sydney Penrith and the associated Western Sydney Conference Centre, which opened last August.

The hotel and event venue were built by the Panthers Group which also owns the Penrith Panthers NRL team.

“Like Trilogy, Panthers Group understand and has demonstrated the importance of bringing the best people together, to achieve great things,” said CEO of Trilogy Hotels, Scott Boyes.

“Together, we look forward to showcasing the very best of the West, adding value to our community and delivering an outstanding product and precinct for members, guests and delegates.

“It’s great to once again work with our partner Accor. The hotel will continue to utilise their exceptional distribution capability, marketing and loyalty programs, and the iconic global presence of the Pullman brand.”

Boyes and fellow Trilogy Hotels founder Grant Alchin have both previously held senior roles with Accor.

Earlier this year, Trilogy took on the management of four Accor properties owned by the Schwartz Family Company, including the Fairmont Blue Mountains, another significant conferencing hotel.

The deal in Penrith comes as Western Sydney prepares for the opening of Western Sydney Airport in 2026, Sydney second international airport, which is expected to be Australia’s busiest later this century.

“For us, this partnership means access to Trilogy Hotels’ unparalleled experience, professionalism, and understanding of our needs, ensuring that we can deliver exceptional experiences to our guests while maximising the potential of our properties,” said Panthers Group CEO, Brian Fletcher.

“With Trilogy Hotels by our side, we are poised to elevate our offerings, enhance operational efficiency, and drive sustainable growth in the dynamic hospitality industry.”

Pullman Sydney Penrith offers 153 rooms, while the Western Sydney Conference Centre offers 1,250m2 of event space.

Working for Trilogy Hotels, Michael Thomas has been appointed general manager of Pullman Sydney Penrith and the Western Sydney Conference Centre. He comes to the role with more than 35 years of experience, including with Hilton, Shangri-La and Accor.
