AVPartners picks up big in-house win
AVPartners has picked up a major new piece of business in Brisbane.

The AV company that specialises in in-house production for hotels and venues will be the first in-house AV supplier for The Star Brisbane when it opens in August.

Set within the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf development, The Star Brisbane includes Brisbane’s largest pillarless hotel ballroom at 2,000m2 and a total event centre footprint of around 3,500m2. The ballroom can host 1,440 in banquet or be split into five separate spaces.

“This marks an exhilarating milestone for AVPartners,” said managing partner at AVPartners, Andrew Hackett, “by merging our passion for innovative AV technologies with the stunning backdrop provided by The Star Brisbane’s function spaces.”

Alongside the ballroom, The Star Brisbane will have several other large event spaces, including the hero Sky Deck, a 250m wraparound space 100m above Brisbane’s city streets. Outdoor spaces include The Leisure Deck and The Landing, right on the Brisbane River waterfront.  All three of these spaces can accommodate groups of more than 1,000 people.

AVPartners already has contracts with some of Australia’s most iconic hotels and destinations, including Hamilton Island, Four Seasons Sydney and Shangri-La Sydney.

The production company has already competed an AV installation at The Star Brisbane.
