Swathe of appointments at Trilogy Hotels
New hotel management business Trilogy Hotels has appointed five leaders across various parts of the business, from commercial to HR, distribution, growth and corporate support.

Founded in December 2023, the company has already picked up several high profile hotel management contracts including the Fairmont Blue Mountains and Pullman Sydney Penrith.

Coming to the role with over 20 years of industry experience, Shaizeen Contractor has been chosen as Trilogy Hotels’ chief commercial officer.

Contractor has spent time in senior roles with Hilton Hotels, TFE Hotels and an independent hotel management group in the United States called Highgate Hotels.

She will lead the commercial strategy across the Trilogy Hotels portfolio as it grows.

Mardi Sparrow has joined Trilogy Hotels

Mardi Sparrow has been appointed chief people officer for Trilogy Hotels.

Like Contractor, Sparrow has more than two decades experience, having held HR roles in Asia and Australia, for the likes of IHG Hotels & Resorts, Shangri-La, Radisson and Raffles. Her first human resources role was as part of the organising committee for the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000.

Sparrow will work on best practice throughout the employee lifecycle, create a rewarding employee experience and enhance employee engagement and retention.

Ben Salter has been appointed director of distribution and systems.

Salter has worked for Accor and Stamford Hotels and Resorts and has over 30 years of experience in managing revenue, sales and distribution teams.

He will be focussed on delivering the most efficient revenue to the properties under management with Trilogy Hotels.

Ben Salter has joined Trilogy Hotels

Josie Hungerford has been appointed as director of growth and corporate affairs.

Hungerford is a lawyer and has worked across law and hotel development. Before joining Trilogy Hotels she was director of development for Radisson Hotel Group. She has also worked with Minor Hotels.

She will lead Trilogy Hotels’ growth strategy and major corporate projects.

Finally, Amanda Warner has joined Trilogy Hotels as the corporate support manager.

She has previous experience in administration and supporting teams across multiple industries. She was previously a talent and culture coordinator at Mecure Sydney and also works as a conflict coach.
