Perth to host national suicide prevention conference
Perth will host the 26th National Suicide Prevention Conference (NSPC 2025) in autumn 2025.

The event is expected to attract more than 700 delegates.

“We look forward to welcoming delegates from across the nation and the world to Perth to share the latest thinking and learning in suicide prevention,” said Suicide Prevention Australia CEO Nieves Murray.

“For 25 years we have been bringing together the brightest minds to share innovative thinking, best practice and the latest research.”

The National Suicide Prevention Conference is the latest piece of business converted for Perth after the destination’s recent business events mega-famil.

“Our recent ‘Re-aWAken’ mega famil played a strategic role in attracting NSPC 2025 to Perth and BE Perth looks forward to collaborating with stakeholders and partners to ensure its success, providing delegates with an enriching and memorable experience in Western Australia,” said Business Events Perth CEO, Gareth Martin.

“NSPC 2025 reinforces the state’s global standing as a destination for conferences that make a difference and provides the opportunity to spotlight Western Australia’s commitment to leading crucial discussions on the global stage.”

Martin told micenet last month that the famil had already generate $15 million in business for Perth, with more potential in the pipeline.
