New faces at AIME organiser Talk2 Media and Events, including John Wilson
The organiser of the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) has taken on four new staff ahead of the 2025 show.

John Wilson has joined the AIME team as marketing director, with more than 25 years’ of marketing and events experience in tow, including almost 14 years with Informa Australia and more than four with Hannover Fairs.

AIME has also picked up a marketing executive in Kayla Elliott, who comes to the show with a diverse set of creative experiences, including photography, music and culture journalism and entertainment and gaming marketing.

Meanwhile, after managing operations for AIME in 2024, Claire Graham has officially joined the AIME team as director of operations and content. Previously at Interpoint Events, Graham has more than two decades of event management experience across a variety of organisations.

And, moving over from Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, where she spent nearly 15 years, Nissa Ni has joined AIME as event and systems coordinator.

“We are so excited to welcome John, Claire, Kayla and Nissa to the AIME team,” said AIME’s event director, Silke Calder.

“They are already making their impact felt, bringing new ideas and inspiration as preparations for AIME 2025 continue at pace.

“The growth of AIME 2024 was just phenomenal, and we are confident our team will deliver an event in 2025 that’s bigger and better than ever.”

While Melbourne Convention Bureau owns the show, Talk2 Media and Events has been the organising team for the event since the 2019 iteration.

Joining Talk2 Media in 2020, the 2025 show will be Calder’s fourth at the helm after the 2021 event was forced into late cancellation by the pandemic.

Next year’s show is set to be larger than 2024, which in itself was the biggest AIME in a decade.

The exhibition floor for AIME 2025 will increase to 15,000m2 across 10 bays, to accommodate over 600 exhibitors and 650 hosted buyers, alongside day buyers and other visitors.
