Claudia Hall has taken over from David Thompson as event director for IBTM World in Barcelona, which begins on November 28.
Thompson left RX, which owns the IBTM brand, in September to become the technology portfolio director at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Conversely, Hall has moved back from the UAE to take over Thompson’s role at RX.
Prior to joining IBTM World, Hall spent over 13 years working for Informa in various roles. Between March 2017 and December 2021, Hall was the exhibition director for two Middle East shows in transport, technology and energy.
micenet understands that in 2022 and up until joining RX early this month, Hall took a career break to raise her young children.
