ICC Sydney’s new recruit, Emily Howe, completed a Bachelor of Management in Events in 2024 at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), who is ICC Sydney’s parter in the new grad program.
While studying Howe also worked with well-known industry business Funktionality.
“I couldn’t be more excited to put into practice the learnings that I’ve gained through my degree from the University of Technology Sydney by joining ICC Sydney as a new graduate,” said Howe.
“Starting off in a coordinator position in the business development department, I can’t wait to experience the mentoring and interaction with clients that will boost my future career prospects.”
In her paid graduate role, Howe will gain experience across different facets of ICC Sydney’s operations – aside from business development, she will also work on event planning and delivery and receive insights into marketing, customer service, finance and risk.

ICC Sydney already runs a graduate program for AV professionals and an internship program for the centre’s kitchen.
