Exhibitor applications open for MEETINGS 2025
Organisers of New Zealand business events trade show MEETINGS are expecting the 2025 event to be the largest to date.

Applications for exhibition space on the show floor have opened, with special rates for those who get in early or are new to the event. Those who are returning after an extended break from the show are also eligible for special rates.

MEETINGS is returning to New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland, in 2025, for the first time since 2021. The event will be back at its old stomping ground the Auckland Showgrounds on June 11 and 12.

“We are expecting our biggest ever MEETINGS next year and we are encouraging exhibitors to apply early for show floor space,” said Lisa Hopkins, chief executive of Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA), the industry association which owns and runs the show.

“Following the great success of MEETINGS 2024 in Rotorua, we’ve seen the enduring value of face-to-face interactions and the power of coming together in person.

“MEETINGS 2025 is set to create a powerful hub for domestic and international buyers to exchange ideas and create new business opportunities.

“We are proud to partner with Auckland’s convention bureau and business events community to make MEETINGS 2025 a must-attend event.”

More than 220 hosted buyers from Australia, New Zealand and further afield are expected to attend the show, along with 300 day buyers.

Early bird exhibitor rates are available until December 13 and there are a limited number of “entry level” exhibition spaces for new exhibitors and those who have not had a space at the show for five years or more.

After doing a tour of New Zealand in the last few years, taking place in Christchurch, Wellington and Rotorua in 2022, 2023 and 2024 respectively, MEETINGS will be held in Auckland in 2025 and 2026.

The currently under construction New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) will host the event for the first time in 2026, following an expected opening in 2025.
