AVPartners adds ultra-wide screen in Noosa
The in-house AV specialist has installed a huge LED screen at a five-star Noosa hotel, marking a first for the Queensland destination.

AVPartners has added a 14.4m wide LED screen into the grand ballroom at Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort on the coast north of Brisbane. The screen also reaches 2.36m high.

Three times larger than the screen it replaced, the new installation also has an ultra-fine pitch, offering high resolution vision.

When the ballroom splits into three rooms, each space gets a 4.8m wide section of the screen.

“We are eager to demonstrate to the Noosa region the unparalleled experience of hosting an event with us, utilising this first-of-its-kind technology in the area,” said Cale Dunn, who manages the AV at the venue for AVPartners.

The Sofitel property’s ballroom can seat 350 delegates theatre-style, while the resort has over 700m2 of event space, offering both indoor and outdoor spaces.

“AVPartners has installed this new LED wall to ensure we deliver a clear and professional visual experience for every conference or event,” said Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort’s general manager, Mark Wilkinson.

AVPartners primarily offers in-house AV services at hotels and venues around Australia, including Four Seasons Sydney, Shangri-La Sydney, Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, Crown Perth, Sofitel Brisbane Central, Hamilton Island and Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
