After becoming the long-term in-house AV supplier for the luxury hotel in Perth, AVPartners has made a ‘significant investment’ in the AV gear at the property.

Audio visual upgrades to event spaces at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth include a 15m wide LED screen in the Elizabeth Quay Ballroom that stretches 2.5m high, with the option to expand it to 3.5m. In addition, the hotel’s Bell Tower and Swan River Rooms, which can be configured into five separate spaces, have all had LED screens installed, replacing projectors and screens, making The Ritz-Carlton the only hotel in Western Australia to have LED screens across all of its meeting spaces.

Other AV equipment added to the 550m2 Elizabeth Quay Ballroom include motorised cameras with automated camera tracking, LED pinspots, chandelier and coffer lighting, effect wash lighting, motorised stage profile lighting and a new, distributed audio system that is integrated with pre-function spaces.

Touch screen room controls have been introduced in all spaces and in the smaller meeting spaces coloured recessed ceiling lighting has been added.

“Our approach to meetings and events mirrors The Ritz-Carlton’s service philosophy to be uncompromising on quality,” said The Ritz-Carlton, Perth’s general manager, Dario Orsini.

“This significant investment ensures our event spaces are not only visually impressive, but also intuitive and efficient to use.

“It allows our team to deliver exceptional experiences with precision and consistency, while giving planners confidence that their events are supported by world-class technology.”

With its opening in 2019 marking the re-entry of The Ritz-Carlton brand into the Australian market, The Ritz-Carlton, Perth offers 205 accommodation rooms and 2,000m2 of event space.

AVPartners, which primarily offers in-house production services to hotels around Australia, took on in-house AV delivery for the hotel in December 2025.
