The space is part of The Woodstock, a revamped pub under the management of Solotel, which also operates some of Sydney’s acclaimed restaurants including Aria, Chiswick and Chophouse.
The event centre at The Woodstock can host events of up to 250 people and features its own bar, outdoor courtyard, dedicated bathrooms and car parking. The venue also has AV installed, including several large projector screens.
“Western Sydney is one of the fastest-growing and most diverse parts of the state, and we recognised the need for a corporate event destination that can deliver a variety of exceptional experiences,” said Solotel’s CEO, Elliot Solomon.
“The Woodstock delivers the ultimate welcoming environment where businesses can come together to connect, celebrate and collaborate.”
As Western Sydney prepares for its new international airport to open in late 2026, the region is coming into focus for the visitor economy – both for tourism and events.
Other recent event venue openings include revamped spaces at Bankstown Sports Club, called the Azalea Collective, and Bella LIVE from Momento Hospitality as part of the Bella Vista Hotel precinct in northwest Sydney.
There has also been a $230 million investment in Cabra-Vale Diggers Club, now known as Cabravale Club Resort, in Sydney’s southwest, which has yielded new event spaces and a new Novotel, the latter set to open in November. There is also a 600-pax convention centre planned for the club resort within the next two years.
