Pan Pacific Perth and The Fresh Collective both have new commercial directors, while Millennium Hotels and Resorts has appointed a vice president of operations in New Zealand.

Dana Fish joins The Fresh Collective

Long-time ICC Sydney staffer Dana Fish has moved over to catering outfit, The Fresh Collective, taking on the role of commercial director.

The Fresh Collective offers its catering services in some of Australia’s iconic cultural venues, including the Art Gallery of NSW, Bangarra Dance Theatre, Roslyn Packer Theatre and other venues in Sydney’s Walsh Bay precinct, the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra and Melbourne Theatre Company, ACMI and the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. The business also services the likes of Riverlife in Brisbane.

After more than a decade with the convention centre, Fish is now spearheading the strategic objectives of The Fresh Collective, overseeing sales, marketing and event activities.

Pan Pacific Perth appoints new director of commercial

Over in Perth, Pan Pacific Hotels Group has found its new director of commercial for Pan Pacific Perth, selecting Karen Priest for the role.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience, Priest has worked for some of Australia’s best known tourism organisations, including Tourism Australia and Tourism Western Australia. She is the former CEO of Mandurah and Peel Tourism Organisation, a former board member of the Tourism Council of Western Australia and a former Commissioner for Tourism Western Australia.

“We’re delighted to welcome Karen to the Pan Pacific Perth team,” said Pan Pacific Perth general manager, Rens Breur.

“With her extensive experience and profound understanding of the industry, Karen will play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial direction, elevating our market presence and driving meaningful results for our guests and stakeholders alike.”

The 488-room Pan Pacific Perth, which also boasts the largest hotel event space in the Perth CBD, completed a major refurbishment earlier this year.

“Pan Pacific Perth holds a significant place in the city’s hospitality landscape, and I am thrilled to be joining such a dedicated and passionate team,” said Priest.

Hani Daher has joined Millennium Hotels and Resorts New Zealand

New VP of operations for Millennium Hotels and Resorts New Zealand

Hani Daher has been appointed vice president of operations for Millennium Hotels and Resorts, which has 19 hotels across New Zealand under various brands.

Daher will join Millennium on November 3, from Travel + Leisure Co. International, where he currently oversees 14 properties across four Australian states, including those belonging to Wyndham Destinations and Accor Vacation Club.

He has previously held general management and F&B director roles across various properties for brands including Radisson Blu, Stamford Hotels and Resorts and Sheraton.

Daher will bring a practiced focus on service excellence, food and beverage innovation and operational alignment to Millennium.

“We are excited to welcome Hani to the Millennium team and look forward to the energy, expertise and strategic vision he will bring as we continue to strengthen our operations and partnerships across our portfolio,” said Millennium Hotels & Resorts New Zealand managing director, Stuart Harrison.
