Rotorua set for four-city business events roadshow in Australia
RotoruaNZ’s business events team will stage events in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast later this month.

The Rotorua Robe Trip is an opportunity for Australian organisers to get to know Rotorua better as a business events destination, including meeting representatives from Rotorua’s hotels and attractions.

Staff from the likes of Millennium Hotel Rotorua, Skyline Rotorua, Te Puia and the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute, Vidcom New Zealand and Wai Ariki Hot Springs & Spa will all be in attendance.

The North Island destination in New Zealand is famous for its geothermal hot springs, connection to Māori culture and adventure activities.

“This is about bringing a slice of Rotorua to Australia,” said RotoruaNZ’s business events portfolio manager, Vanessa Wallace.

“We aim to share our hospitality, our heritage and what makes us truly special as a business events destination.

“The Rotorua Robe Trip will offer planners an intimate and inspiring experience, while highlighting the quality, creativity and heart that underpins our offering.”

Each event will offer a culinary experience and a keynote from imposter syndrome expert Alison Shamir.

The roadshow will begin in Melbourne at Society Restaurant on August 25, continuing on to Sydney on August 26 at Lana in Hinchcliff House, then Brisbane at Southside Restaurant on August 27 before wrapping up on the Gold Coast on August 28 at Cora Restaurant & Bar.

Event organisers wishing to attend can register for events in any of the four cities here.
