Large-scale ag tech event evokeAG is returning to the place it all began for 2026.

More than 2,000 delegates are expected to attend evokeAG at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in February 2026.

Run by AgriFutures Australia, the event is anticipated to draw attendees from 20 countries, 134 speakers and over 50 startups.

The meeting provides a platform to showcase agricultural innovation and catalyse collaboration on solutions to agricultural challenges.

“We are proud to support the return of this landmark event to Melbourne and to invest in the growth and innovation of Australian agriculture,” said Victoria’s agriculture minister, Ros Spence.

The event first started in Melbourne in 2019 and was held in Melbourne again in 2020, before a two-year pandemic break. Since restarting in 2023, evokeAG has been held in Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

The 2025 event in Brisbane hosted 1,957 delegates, including 201 from overseas, 347 primary producers and 69 investors.

“As a proud Victorian and advocate for regional Australia, I’m delighted to see evokeAG come to Melbourne in 2026,” said AgriFutures Australia chair, Cathy McGowan AO.

“Victoria is home to a vibrant and diverse agrifood sector, world-class agricultural research institutions and some of the most innovative producers and startups in the country.

“It’s the perfect place to showcase what is possible when agriculture and innovation come together.”

The event will be held at MCEC on February 17 and 18, 2026.
