Pan Pacific Perth debuts major renovation
Pan Pacific Perth, a major player in Perth’s business events landscape, has completed a property-wide refurbishment.

All 488 guestrooms received attention during the renovation, while the hotel’s expansive meeting spaces got a lift, the lobby was redesigned and the property’s Club Lounge was elevated.

The vast majority of guest rooms and suites – 392 of them – were completely refurbished, including their bathrooms, while 96 Pacific Club rooms received new workspaces, furnishings and décor.

The Pan Pacific Perth has the largest hotel event space in Perth’s CBD, offering two ballrooms for up to 700 and 600 attendees respectively, alongside several other event spaces and pre-function areas. Besides the ballrooms, the hotel’s other spaces can accommodate between six and 200 delegates.

Altogether the hotel offers more than 2,500m2 of event space and attracts national and international meetings.

Recently announced business wins include a national submarine conference and hosting the World Trails Conference in 2026.

Renovations to the event offering included contemporising the look and feel of the spaces, new carpets and flooring, new AV and lighting, and new furniture.

The wider renovation features several sustainable touches, including decorative panels made from repurposed denim and furniture made from recycled ocean plastic.

“We are incredibly proud of this transformation, which not only reaffirms our commitment to luxury and sustainability but also strengthens our identity as a place of celebration – something we’ve proudly been for over three decades,” said Rens Breur, Pan Pacific Perth’s new general manager.

“This refurbishment is more than a revitalisation of our guest rooms and event spaces; it’s a meaningful evolution that reflects our core values and underscores our continued investment in Perth’s vibrant hospitality landscape. For so many, Pan Pacific Perth has been the backdrop to life’s milestone moments.

“With this transformation, we’re elevating that legacy – enhancing our offering to deliver exceptional experiences.

“As the city’s largest hotel convention destination, our flexible venues are perfectly suited for everything from executive meetings and large-scale conferences to truly memorable celebrations.”

Pan Pacific Perth’s renovation is the latest in a series of works for the Pan Pacific Hotels Group in Australia, following renovations of PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, completed in 2024, and PARKROYAL Parramatta, completed last month. The Pan Pacific Perth is the group’s largest property in Australia.
