TFE Hotels suffered a cyber incident over the past weekend, which has resulted in ongoing issues that have taken its communications and reservation networks offline.

The hotel group announced the issue via social media on Saturday. It has also posted messages onto its websites about its “service disruptions”.

The group says hotel teams are manually assisting guests while phone reservation lines have been transferred to a central customer service team.

“We are working to restore access to our back-end systems, including new booking information. We are also currently working with the team to restore access to our emails,” said a more detailed note on TFE’s website.

Media enquiries to the group’s communications team were referred to Wotton Kearney, which describes itself as an insurance and risk legal business for Asia Pacific. With offices around Australia and New Zealand, the company also operates a cyber forensics team. micenet has contacted the company for more information about the incident.

TFE recently launched The Eve Hotel Sydney, a member of its luxury Collection by TFE brand and also recently reopened Adina Town Hall in Sydney after a complete renovation.

TFE Hotels are located in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Southeast Asia with brands including A by Adina, Adina Hotels, Vibe Hotels, Quincy, Travelodge Hotels, Rendezvous and Collection by TFE Hotels.
