With more than 200 exhibitors expected, the show floor for New Zealand’s flagship business events trade show, MEETINGS, is almost full.

The show is set to be held at Auckland Showgrounds on June 11 and 12, when the event returns to New Zealand’s largest city for the first time since 2021.

“We have received a fantastic response from the industry and exhibition spaces are nearly sold out, while hosted buyer positions for Australian and New Zealand organisers are in hot demand,” said Lisa Hopkins, chief executive of Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA), which owns and organises MEETINGS.

Over 500 buyers are expected to attend the event, which features exclusively New Zealand venues, destinations, hotels and products and services for the business events industry.

More than 220 hosted buyers will come from around New Zealand as well as from Australia and other international markets further afield. A further 300 day buyers from within New Zealand are also expected.

Applications to exhibit at the show close next Tuesday. For first-time exhibitors and those who haven’t bought space at the show in five or more years, there are a few spots left on the floor at a lower price point.

“With new infrastructure across the country, excellent air connectivity, incredibly diverse regional character, strong Māori cultural values and innovative sustainability practices, Aotearoa New Zealand is a truly exciting destination for business events,” said Hopkins.

MEETINGS is set to be held in Auckland both this year and next, with the 2026 show to be held at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) for the first time, following its opening in February 2026.
