Produced in partnership with Business Events Wellington
BEW will be joined by Tākina Events who represent two of the city’s major venues, the new Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre and New Zealand’s national museum, Te Papa Tongarewa.
Opened in June 2023, Tākina significantly boosted Wellington’s capacity to host large events. With 10,000m2 of flexible plenary and exhibition space over two floors, the centre can accommodate up to 1,600 delegates or two concurrent conferences. With a variety of spaces available at Te Papa Tongarewa, located just across the road from Tākina, clients collaborating with the Tākina Events team have a wealth of options to choose from.
Venues Wellington will also be at AIME, alongside the team from BEW. The Venues Wellington portfolio consists of five versatile civic venues accommodating everything from dinners on stage at the St James Theatre to the Michael Fowler Centre, renowned for its striking architecture, and the TSB Arena, Wellington’s largest indoor venue, perfect for large-scale events.
