The event will be held on June 11 and 12, 2025, in Auckland, with the event returning to the city after taking a tour of both islands between 2022 and 2024.
“This is an exciting year to showcase the dynamic changes in New Zealand’s largest city with brand new key infrastructure ready to unveil,” said Lisa Hopkins, chief executive of Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) which owns and manages MEETINGS.
“Buyers will have the opportunity to see the city in a whole new light.
“The NZICC and City Rail Link are set to open later in 2025, and several new hotels, including five-star product at the Horizon Hotel and InterContinental Auckland, as well as the expansion of the Cordis Pinnacle Tower will all be on show.”
Successful hosted buyer applicants will receive complimentary flights and travel to MEETINGS in Auckland, complimentary accommodation and access to the full MEETINGS experience, including the welcome event and the closing gala.
Hosted buyers must also complete 30 pre-scheduled appointments with exhibitors at MEETINGS over the two days. It is expected that there will be 220 exhibitors from 18 regions of New Zealand on the show floor at the event.
In total, more than 220 hosted buyers are expected to attend MEETINGS at Auckland Showgrounds next June, alongside 300 day buyers.
Hosted buyers can also apply to attend a two-day famil of Auckland prior to MEETINGS. Some hosted buyers will also be invited to tour the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) during MEETINGS 2025. The NZICC will open in 2025 and host MEETINGS in 2026.
BEIA anticipates MEETINGS 2025 will be the largest iteration to date. Exhibitor applications have already been open for nearly a month.
As a New Zealand only show, all products and services on the show floor are New Zealand based.
