With today marking a year to the day since the reopening of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) after a massive renovation, Bangkok’s newest and largest convention centre has demonstrated its capability to host business and consumer events of all shapes and sizes.

Produced in partnership with Queen Sirikit National Convention Center

In its first year back in business after an extensive remodelling, with five times more space than pre-expansion, QSNCC held the APEC Leaders’ Summit in addition to medical, education and entrepreneurship events and art, pets and esports events for the general public. Event sizes have ranged from 30 to 10,000 attendees.

In November, the convention centre will host over 1,000 delegates from around the world for the International Congress and Convention Association’s global meeting, the 62nd ICCA Congress.

These events are made possible by the flexibility of QSNCC. The venue boasts 78,500m2 of event space with eight exhibition halls, four ballrooms, four plenary halls and 50 meeting rooms.

The full offering of QSNCC is still growing. Part of the convention centre complex is the Bangkok Active Lifestyle Mall (BALM) with 11,000m2 of retail space, including food and beverage outlets, a sports store, a spa, a bookstore and a pharmacy as well as a first for a convention centre in Thailand: a shower station, offering business events attendees an opportunity to freshen up onsite.

QSNCC also continues to focus on its sustainability credentials and is on track to receive Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. It will be the first convention centre in Thailand to earn the LEED-NCv4 Silver Certification. In addition, the venue has signed the Net Zero Carbon Events pledge and become the first venue in Thailand to become an official supporter of the Net Zero Carbon Events movement, joining as a green level contributor.

As QSNCC continues to demonstrate that it is the ultimate inspiring event platform for all, discover what Bangkok’s newest convention centre can offer your event in one of Asia’s most exciting cities.
