The event will be held at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) and typically draws a variety of business events sellers from in and around Brisbane as exhibitors.
“Brisbane Pop-Up brings together Brisbane’s leading venues, hotels, suppliers and experiences under one roof, making it easy for event planners to connect with the right people and discover everything our city has to offer,” said BEDA’s CEO, Anthony Ryan.
“With BEDA securing 64 events for the city last year, there’s never been a better time to connect with us and experience Brisbane’s thriving business events offering firsthand.”
In 2025 exhibitors included Howard Smith Wharves – which has some exciting developments in the works – The Star Brisbane, Hyatt Regency Brisbane, The Calile Hotel, Tangalooma Island Resort – also with a new offering pending – Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Brisbane Marriott, Sofitel Brisbane Central, Emporium Hotel, Microhire and Encore Event Technologies.
“Brisbane Pop-Up gives event planners a real taste of what makes our city special,” said Brisbane Lord Mayor, Adrian Schrinner.
“They’ll meet the people behind our world-class events industry, experience our outstanding venues and see why Brisbane continues to attract major conferences from around the world.”
With the city benefiting from the global profile boost that comes with being a future Olympic host, Brisbane’s status as an event host appears to be rising internationally – this year the destination climbed 45 places up the annual city rankings from the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), after hosting nearly double the number of international conferences in 2025 compared to 2024.
Brisbane Pop-Up is free for buyers to attend, with registrations open now.
