Brisbane’s events industry to be on show next month
More than 50 Brisbane event industry suppliers will come together on September 14 for Brisbane Pop-Up.

The showcase, organised by the Brisbane Economic Development Agency, now in its 16th year, gives members of the city’s convention bureau direct access to potential event organiser clients.

Exhibitors include major business events players like Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC), Howard Smith Wharves, Brisbane Showgrounds, The Westin Brisbane and Brisbane Powerhouse, as well as newer business events suppliers, such as Hotel X Fortitude Valley, Ghanem Group, YOT Club and The Star Brisbane, which is set to open in April 2024.

“Brisbane Pop-Up is an opportunity for local businesses and suppliers to connect and support one another, while contributing to our growing local economy,” said Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner.

“Home to the world’s brightest minds and industry-leading research programs, Brisbane has everything event organisers’ need to ignite innovation and build lasting legacies.”

BEDA’s CEO, Anthony Ryan said the city’s events industry had a strong track record for delivery and Brisbane Pop-Up would provide inspiration for event planners looking to host a business event in Brisbane.

“Our events industry is constantly developing new ideas, products and outputs to deliver bespoke experiences, venues and hotels for meetings and business events – all with professional and friendly service that will exceed expectations.”

Event planners and conference organisers can register to attend the event for free here and see the full list of exhibitors here.
