It’s also another win for Trilogy Hotels, the independent hotel management company founded in late 2023 that has been steadily accruing properties for its portfoilio.
The 104-room AC Hotel by Marriott – Sydney Hyde Metropolitan will be located at 133 Liverpool Street in Sydney’s CBD, under 15 minutes’ walk from ICC Sydney and well-placed for other CBD and inner-city event venues. The hotel will feature a ground-floor restaurant, a bar and lounge on level six and meeting rooms.
The hotel will be part of the mixed-use Hyde Metropolitan development from Deicorp.

“This lifestyle hotel is slated to bring a sophisticated edge to the Sydney market.

This will be the 19th property to come under Trilogy Hotels’ oversight, with its largest cache of rooms in Sydney, alongside properties in Canberra, Victoria and the Northern Territory.

Founder and chair of Deicorp, Fouad Deiri OAM, said the partnership with Marriott and Trilogy Hotels “reflects the project’s vision of refined elegance and style”.
“It introduces a grand new hotel experience to the Hyde Park precinct: design-led, elegant and perfectly positioned to reflect our ambition for this building and the city around it,” said Deiri.
Currently under construction, AC Hotel by Marriott – Sydney Hyde Metropolitan is expected to open in late 2027.
Australia’s first AC hotel is located in Melbourne, just behind Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and there is a second AC property expected to make its debut on the Gold Coast this year, with the existing Vibe Gold Coast being converted into a 202-room AC Hotel.
