The launch of an Adelaide office coincides with what Adelaide Convention Centre expects to be a record year – and having just closed out pandemic-era record month in May – as well as the recent hire of Anita Martin to head up the PCO’s new office.
A South Australian local, Martin has experience as a conference organiser, as well as in hospitality, corporate events, trade shows and summits.
“We noticed appetite for destination business events post COVID-19 on the rise, so the opportunity to open an Adelaide office is exciting,” said Think Business Events director Denise Broeren.
“It offers our clients more options when considering South Australia as a destination to host their next business event.
“Bringing Anita on board to drive the growth of our Adelaide office adds a whole new level of depth to our ability to create a South Australian experience.”
Martin agrees that Adelaide has all the credentials necessary to appeal to the business events market.
“Adelaide is a city that is easy to get around in, well connected, friendly and boasts world class facilities surrounded by some of the nation’s best wine regions. What better way is there to do business?” she said.
Think Business Events already has offices in Australia’s three largest cities, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
