Produced in partnership with the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME)
Kicking off the three-day event, the AIME Knowledge Program is the launchpad for the global events industry to come together and immerse in learning, growth and inspiration.
Neuro-performance scientist and award-winning author Dr Kristy Goodwin will be one of two keynote speakers at the event.
The theme for AIME’s 2025 Knowledge Program is We Matter! which seeks to highlight and celebrate the global business events industry as a powerful catalyst for economic growth. How will this theme inform your keynote?
I’ll arm AIME delegates with science-backed solutions to optimise their performance and wellbeing in the digitally-demanding world they now live and work in because their wellbeing matters! If events professionals want to continue to drive economic growth they need to learn how to support their wellbeing.
I’ll be sharing simple, science-backed strategies that will help them manage stress in real time, bolster their focus (what I refer to as their FQ), prioritise rest and have more energy so they can continue to power themselves up to drive the economic growth in the events industry.
I’ll share a personal story about how I’d ignored the whispers from my body to slow down and work in a more sustainable way, how years of chronic stress almost cost me my life and what I now do to ensure that I’ll never pay the “success tax” again.
What do you hope audiences will take away from your presentation?
Delegates will be armed with a menu of micro-habits that they can easily apply to their personal and professional lives to optimise their productivity and wellbeing. I’ll share simple things that event professionals can integrate into their days so they can be a high-res, powered-up, thriving version of themselves where they don’t have to pay a “success tax” (i.e. compromised physical health, mental wellbeing and/or relationships in the pursuit of success).
What are you excited about sharing with the audience at AIME 2025?
I’m excited to simplify and decode the latest neuroscience and research that underpins the easy, everyday habits that event professionals can implement to optimise and sustain their wellbeing in the digitally-intense and dynamic world in which they operate.
I’ll help them understand the easy ways that they can live in harmony with their Human Operating System (hOS) so they can go from being a low-res, powered-down person who’s surviving to a high-res, powered-up professional who’s thriving.
AIME 2025 will run 10 –12 February 2025 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. The AIME 2025 Knowledge Program is open to Hosted Buyers, Hosted Media, Exhibitors and Visitor Buyers who upgrade their tickets.
