Both are available to book exclusively in the evening for pre-dinner drinks, cocktail functions, gala dinners, product launches and more.
Paying homage to the classic 1939 film, the $100 million world-first Wizard of Oz-themed precinct features two new rollercoasters, impressive high-tech holograms and unique theming, including a recreation of the iconic Yellow Brick Road and costumed characters.
The Wizard of Oz Plaza is suited for up to 300 guests while the vibrant emerald Wizard’s Chamber provides a cocktail or dining venue able to host a seated dinner for up to 140 or stand-up cocktails and canapés for up to 250.
At nearby Dreamworld, seating up to 280 guests, Jane’s Rivertown Restaurant is an immersive and experiential dining precinct with extensive theming, lush jungle surroundings and animatronic wildlife that brings the space to life, delivering a multi-sensory experience that transports guests into the heart of an exotic adventure.
Jane’s Rivertown Restaurant also offers a meeting and conference space that seats up to 120 guests.
“Event planners will be amazed by the sheer transformation of this space,” said Renne Roberts, sales manager for Dreamworld Events.
“It’s unlike anything they’ve seen before.
“From the moment guests step inside, they’re surrounded by a living, breathing environment with animatronic wildlife and stunning jungle theming.”
Roberts calls it an experience that goes beyond a venue with “a level of engagement and atmosphere that you simply won’t find in a traditional event space”.
When the working day is complete, delegates can unwind in the pre-themed Rivertown restaurant or move to other venue spaces available within the park.
Rivertown’s centrepiece attraction is a roller coaster thrill ride called Jungle Rush, which is Dreamworld’s largest-ever investment in a single ride with world-first technology including an inclined turntable and intricate jungle theming.
A second attraction, Murrissippi Motors takes guests on a scenic journey through the Rivertown precinct’s lush landscape, weaving around the iconic and historic RAAF Caribou A4-179 aircraft.
Both precincts are now available for hire.
