A 140-room Novotel will open at the rebranded resort in Sydney’s southwest late this year, alongside a signature restaurant with chef Dany Karam at the helm – his business with brother Dimitri Karam, Signature Hotel Management Group, will also be managing the Novotel when it opens.
The hotel opening follows a $230 million investment which has also yielded new event spaces, opened in 2022.
The largest event space at Cabravale Club Resort, its auditorium, can banquet 400 pax, while six smaller meeting rooms can accommodate between 40 and 64 in banquet configuration with the ability to combine several spaces for larger groups.
The Novotel will also offer some additional meeting spaces once open.
The club resort announced its rebranding at its centenary anniversary gala last night, which was attended by 220 people and featured a video message of congratulations from the NSW Premier, Chris Minns.
“Rebranding to Cabravale Club Resort is more than a name change – it’s a bold step forward,” said the venue’s chief commercial officer, Vicki Le.
“As Western Sydney grows into a major hub for tourism and culture, we’re redefining what a modern club can be.
“This new identity reflects our ambition to lead and welcome, while staying true to our community roots.
“We’re also proud to launch a new charity partnership as part of this next chapter – ensuring our growth gives back to the region that has shaped us.”
The charity partnership is with youth mental health charity the Sebastian Foundation.
A second signature restaurant will open at the venue in 2026.
Following that, a new-build 600-pax capacity convention centre is planned for Cabravale Club Resort within the next two years.
The club resort is just under 25km – a 30-minute drive in clear traffic – from the new Western Sydney International Airport, due to open late next year.
