Perth wins CYTO-Connect conference following famil
Among the wins secured by Business Events Perth off the back of the recent Re-aWAken mega famil in March, Perth will stage an inaugural scientific meeting next year.

On Friday, Business Events Perth announced the win of the CYTO-Connect conference set to be hosted at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in November 2025.

The three-day international conference is for a multidisciplinary community in the health and medical sector covering cytometry – the quantitative cell sciences.

Courtney Brooks Kamin, executive director of the Washington DC-based International Society for the Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC), attended the Re-aWAken famil last month.

The conference, a collaboration between ISAC and the Australian Cytometry Society (ACS) will feature plenary sessions, themed breakouts and workshops focusing on a wide array of topics and will bring together life science experts from around the globe. At least 350 delegates are expected from the Australasian region along with up to a further 150 international attendees.

“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our mission to bridge cytometry communities worldwide,” said Kamin.

“Securing the inaugural CYTO-Connect conference is a huge testament to [the Re-aWAken famil] and highlights #WAtheDreamState as the ideal business event destination on a global stage,” said Business Events Perth’s CEO Gareth Martin.

ISAC produces an annual international congress of cell analysis technology and applications called CYTO 2024, which will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland, next month.
