The hotel’s 2,500m2 convention floor has undergone a complete redesign to update the 1970s building to a contemporary feel, creating bright, open spaces through lighting feature walls, new carpets, new AV, flooring, furniture and lighting throughout.
The refurbishment offers modern aesthetics and was designed to capture the essence of Western Australia.
Every event space has been updated through the comprehensive refurbishment.
The largest of Pan Pacific Perth’s spaces are the Golden Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 700 and the Grand River Ballroom with views over the Swan River for up to 600. A variety of other spaces can cater for six to 200 attendees.
“The new convention floor marks a defining moment in the evolution of Perth’s MICE scene,” said Pan Pacific Perth’s general manager, Paul Flett.
“As the largest hotel-based conference space in the CBD, we are perfectly positioned to host a diverse array of events. With the growing demand for dynamic, versatile venues, our new spaces blend modern sophistication with the warm hospitality Pan Pacific is known for.
“Whether it’s a board meeting or a grand gala, we’re committed to delivering world-class experiences that leave lasting impressions.”
Encore Event Technologies, the in-house production partner for the Pan Pacific Perth’s event spaces, will install LED screens throughout the convention floor as the final touches to the redesign. These last technology upgrades should be complete by early 2025.
The hotel is in the midst of a sizeable renovation and refurbishment, with 392 out of the property’s 488 rooms and suites having already been revamped.
Other parts of the hotel still to have works completed include the porte cochère, the lobby and the Pacific Club Lounge.
