Exhibitors from more than 250 businesses servicing and supplying business events in New Zealand are expected to be on the show floor in Auckland on June 17 and 18.
“We are thrilled to be working with the NZICC team to maximise this stunning new venue and to be celebrating New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland,” said Lisa Hopkins, chief executive of Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA), which owns and runs the show.
“The appointment programme will be boosted by engaging dialogue with industry experts and innovators.
“At a time when global uncertainty is rising, New Zealand offers a safe and compelling destination for business events.
“Modern infrastructure, connections, diversity and a highly engaged industry give organisers confidence in both delivery and experience.
“MEETINGS is a unique opportunity to experience all this firsthand.”
With the show completely focussed on New Zealand product, hosted buyer applications for event organisers from both Australia and New Zealand are now open and close April 10.
Hosted buyers attend at least 32 pre-scheduled appointments with exhibitors and receive complimentary flights, accommodation and entry into MEETINGS social events. There is also a pre-show famil of Auckland and other pre- and post-show famil opportunities to destinations in New Zealand, including Queenstown, Christchurch, Wellington, Rotorua, Waikato and Hawke’s Bay.
“For those planning business in other destinations, this is the perfect opportunity to explore what is available, from the well-known to the up-and-coming gems,” said Hopkins.
The host venue for MEETINGS 2026, the NZICC, opened in February this year, and, at 32,500m2, is the largest of New Zealand’s trio of new convention centres.
