ICC Sydney released their exhibition performance ahead of Global Exhibitions Day, set for tomorrow, which is designed to draw attention to the worldwide exhibitions industry and the impact it has on industries and the economy, as well as highlighting the marketing power of exhibitions.
“Global Exhibitions Day is an opportunity to recognise the impact exhibitions have in driving economic and social benefits in the local economy,” said ICC Sydney’s CEO, Adam Mather-Brown.
“At ICC Sydney, we strive to make a difference, and our expanding exhibitions calendar encompasses the full spectrum of trade and consumer shows that drive key sectors of our economy.
“What’s especially exciting is the rise of entertainment-centric, interactive and culturally rich exhibitions such as those inspired by technology, gaming, and pop culture which are capturing the imagination of younger audiences.
“These vibrant, immersive experiences highlight the growing influence of the creative industries and underscore the importance of connecting with all generations through innovative, genre-spanning formats.”
Exhibitions being hosted at ICC Sydney in 2025 include the likes of EDUtech, the nation’s largest conference and exhibition for educators, the Good Food & Wine Show, the Hair Festival – Australia’s largest event for hairdressers – Integrate and the Security Exhibition and Conference, co-located to service the security, audio visual and integrated solutions sectors, and SmallBiz Week, a new event for the venue this year.
Meanwhile, South by Southwest Sydney (SXSW Sydney), held in large part at ICC Sydney, has a significant exhibition component and is a draw for younger audiences, particularly with ICC Sydney to host the SXSW Games Showcase this year.
