ICC Sydney invests another half a million dollars in lighting

Sydney’s convention centre has poured more money into its audio visual equipment.

The $554,000 investment in lighting includes 120 new lights and a processing unit.

The new gear is on top of a $2.09 million AV equipment spend announced earlier this year.

“Our expanded lighting inventory provides creative flexibility,” said ICC Sydney’s director of audio visual services, Brian Nash.

“From immersive storytelling to dynamic set design, these tools allow us to push boundaries and deliver extraordinary experiences for our clients.”

The lights provide new options for atmospheric lighting effects and more design and theming opportunities for event organisers to create visual impacts within their event environments at the venue.

As an example of what this year’s AV acquisitions have made possible, ICC Sydney’s AV team have created their first circular LED feature from in-house equipment.

“This latest investment underscores our commitment to innovation and excellence,” said ICC Sydney CEO, Adam Mather-Brown.

“By continually enhancing our AV capabilities, we empower clients to deliver events that inspire, engage and leave lasting legacies.”

Earlier this year, the convention centre installed a permanent immersive AV activation in its ground floor foyer that can be used as a promotional tool for events or standalone advertisers – essentially an immersive billboard.
