Elysium Noosa Resort launches on the Sunshine Coast
Formerly known as the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, the 175-key hotel on the famed Hastings St has officially launched under a new brand – Elysium Noosa Resort.
The debut of the new brand follows a significant renovation, which saw rooms stripped back and completely reworked and refitted, including the addition of new room types, like wellness suites, which have an in-room sauna. The pinnacle offering at the hotel is the two-bedroom Elysium Suite, with its own plunge pool and ocean views.
All rooms at the resort are generously sized – starting at 55m2 – and all feature balconies.
The resort offers significant event space, which also got a revamp as part of the renovations.
A Queensland outpost of Anna and Alessandro Pavoni’s Cibaria – first established at Manly Pacific in Sydney – as well as another offering from the acclaimed restauranteurs, Bar Capri, have also opened as part of the hotel rebrand.
“This property holds a special place in the heart of Australian tourism and its visitors – it is a destination that embodies the relaxed elegance, natural beauty and welcoming spirit that Noosa is known for,” said Elysium Noosa general manager, Mark Wilkinson.
“There is something indisputably unique about this hotel and its iconic setting. Primely positioned on Hastings Street, steps from the beach, hospitality and retail, with the river at its opposite edge, the hotel sits at the nexus of Noosa’s most coveted natural and coastal experiences.”
The hotel continues to be part of Accor’s portfolio, sitting within the MGallery Collection.
